Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
Pastry sheets (we used 'feuilles de brick' but you can also use spring roll pastry or filo pastry)
Cream cheese (we used 'la vache qui fit' - but any other spreadable cheese will do)
1 large can of tuna
1 medium sized tomato, deseeded and chopped
1/2 cup green olives, chopped
handful of flat leaf parsley, chopped
1 egg, beaten
Method
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Prepare a baking tray lined with a baking sheet.
Take the bottom edge of your pasty sheet and fold it upwards.
Spread the cream cheese on the folded part, in a rectangular shape, leaving a slight border on each side.
Add the tuna, olives, tomatoes and parsley.
Fold over the sides and roll into a spring roll shape. Brush the top edge of the pastry with the egg mixture and to help seal the burek.
Place the burek on a the baking tray. Brush them with the remaining egg mixture. Bake in the centre of the oven for 20 minutes or until crispy and golden.
Allow to cool before eating. Enjoy :)
