Reeses' Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • ½ tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1½ tsp cornflour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 10 mini Reese's peanut butter cups

  • 1 tsp peanut butter (optional)

Method:

  1. In a saucepan, on medium to low heat, melt the butter.

  2. Add the cornflour and mix well, until a roux is formed.

  3. Add the milk. Stir constantly.

  4. Add the cocoa powder and sugar and keep mixing until the mixture starts to thicken slightly. (optional: add a tsp of creamy peanut butter)

  5. Add the chocolate of your choice. We used mini Reese's peanut butter cups.

  6. Stir until the chocolate melts completely and the mixture is silky smooth.
